Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 April 2026
These terms govern your use of the Kabaido platform, the Kabaido Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, and any related documentation, APIs, and support. By accessing or using any of these services you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any organisation you represent.
1. Definitions
- Kabaido: Kabaido Ltd, an Irish Limited Company based in Dublin, Ireland.
- Platform: the Kabaido Configure, Price, Quote application at
platform.kabaido.com. - Connector: the remote Kabaido MCP server at
mcp.kabaido.com. - Workspace: the tenant container that holds all customer, quote, product, and manufacturing records for a single Kabaido account.
- User: any natural person with authenticated access to a Kabaido workspace.
2. Account And Access
You must create a Kabaido account and accept an invitation to a workspace before you can use the Platform or the Connector. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Shared credentials and service accounts without a designated human owner are not permitted.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Platform or Connector to break any applicable law, including export control, sanctions, and data protection regulations.
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities of any Kabaido system without prior written authorisation.
- Interfere with, degrade, or disrupt the Platform or Connector, including circumventing rate limits and authorisation scopes.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any Kabaido service except where permitted by law.
- Use the services to build a directly competing Configure, Price, Quote product or to resell access to third parties without a written reseller agreement with Kabaido.
- Upload content that infringes the rights of others, or that is unlawful, defamatory, or harmful.
4. Rate Limits And Fair Use
The Connector enforces 120 requests per minute globally per authenticated subject and an additional limit of 10 requests per minute per destructive tool per subject. Requests exceeding these limits receive aRATE_LIMITED error envelope and a Retry-After hint. Sustained abuse may result in token revocation and workspace suspension.
5. Workspace-Scoped Access
Every tool call and every API request is scoped to the authenticated user's workspace. A token issued for workspace A cannot read or modify workspace B. This is enforced at the database layer through Supabase Row Level Security and at the application layer through per-query workspace filters.
6. Customer Data And Confidentiality
You retain all right, title, and interest in the data you upload to the Platform, including customer records, quotes, products, and manufacturing metadata. Kabaido will not access, view, or process your workspace data except as strictly necessary to provide the services, to comply with legal obligations, or with your explicit permission via the platform admin override feature. Kabaido will not sell, rent, or redistribute your data.
7. AI And The Connector
The Connector lets AI assistants such as Claude call Kabaido tools on your behalf. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated suggestions and drafts may be incorrect and must be reviewed by a human before being sent to customers or used for commercial decisions.
- Kabaido does not store Claude conversation text, prompts, or responses. Only tool-invocation metadata is retained in the activity log.
- Kabaido is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or behaviour of any third-party AI provider connected to the Connector.
8. Fees And Billing
Workspace pricing is published at https://kabaido.com/pricing. Fees are invoiced in accordance with your subscription plan. The Connector itself is free to users with an active Kabaido workspace; Kabaido reserves the right to introduce usage-based pricing for AI tool calls with 30 days' prior notice.
9. Suspension And Termination
Kabaido may suspend or terminate any workspace that violates these terms, poses a security risk, or fails to pay fees when due. On termination your workspace data will be retained for 30 days in a recoverable state and then permanently deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
The Platform and the Connector are provided as is and as available. Kabaido makes no warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kabaido's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Platform or the Connector is limited to the amount you paid Kabaido in the 12 months before the claim arose. Kabaido is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.
12. Changes
Kabaido may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance via email to workspace admins and via the status page. Continued use of the Platform or Connector after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dublin, Ireland, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply.
